About LCS
One workshop, one team and one kind of product we do well: chairs.
We started with an order nobody else would take
In 2015 a client was looking for six chairs for an unusually narrow table. Every shop told him the same thing: it cannot be done, take what is in stock. We built them. That order became our working model for the next ten years.
Today the workshop has a team of thirteen: joiners, upholsterers, a finisher and two people who handle only design and communication with clients in Europe. We produce chairs, armchairs, benches and the tables that go with them — nothing else. No kitchens, no wardrobes. It is the only way we can answer a question about foam density or how smoked oak behaves in daylight precisely.
More than 3,000 pieces have left the workshop since then. Roughly a quarter went abroad, mostly to Moldovans living in Italy, France and Germany who wanted furniture from home, built to measure.

Why LCS
Three rules we do not negotiate
We say when it is a bad idea
If you pick a bouclé and you have two cats, we will tell you beforehand, not afterwards. A client who comes back in five years is worth more than one extra order today.
The price stays the quoted price
The quote you get covers everything: production, finish, packing. No extra costs appear at delivery because "timber went up in the meantime".
We repair what we built
Any piece that left our workshop can come back for repair or reupholstery, however many years have passed since the warranty ended.
The workshop
Production, finishing and upholstery all happen in the same space in Chisinau. You are welcome to come and watch your piece being built — most clients do at least once.
