Restaurant in central Chisinau
Chisinau, Moldova · 2025
Eighty chairs and twelve benches in six weeks, for an opening with a fixed date.
- 01
- The opening date could not move, and the room had recesses of varying widths where standard furniture left 15–20 cm gaps.
- 02
- We measured each recess separately and built benches to exact size, plus 80 Como chairs with reinforced frames and 45,000 Martindale contract fabric. Delivery came in three batches so assembly did not block the fit-out.
- 03
- The room was furnished four days before opening. The four spare chairs covered rotation through the first year.
- 80 Como chairs
- 12 made-to-size benches
- 45,000 Martindale contract fabric
- Three deliveries, six weeks
Apartment in Turin
Turin, Italy · 2025
A complete set ordered entirely remotely, with samples couriered and renders approved by email.
- 01
- The client could not travel to Moldova, and the wood tone had to match an existing walnut bookcase.
- 02
- We shipped a set of 14 finish samples and 9 fabric samples. Once she had chosen, we produced a single leg in the final tone and photographed it against a picture of the bookcase before starting production.
- 03
- The set reached Turin 34 days after the order, packed individually. No piece needed touching up on arrival.
- 8 Verona chairs
- One 200 cm made-to-order table
- 14 finish samples shipped
- 34-day door-to-door delivery
A 9 m² kitchen with a corner bench
Chisinau, Botanica · 2024
An L-shaped bench turned a kitchen that could not fit four chairs into one that seats six.
- 01
- The kitchen was 9 m², and ordinary chairs blocked access to the fridge every time someone stood up.
- 02
- We built a fixed L-shaped bench with storage under the seat, plus two Milano chairs for the open side of the table.
- 03
- Six seats in the same footprint, plus 0.4 m³ of storage the kitchen did not have.
- Made-to-size L bench
- 0.4 m³ of storage under the seat
- Two Milano chairs
- Built in 22 days
Boutique hotel lobby
Chisinau, Moldova · 2024
Twenty-four Imperial armchairs in leather, for a lobby in use around the clock.
- 01
- The designer wanted the classic look of the Imperial armchair, but the piece had to survive hotel use, not living-room use.
- 02
- We kept the silhouette and changed the construction: a larger-section frame, closer-pitched springs and 1.6 mm corrected leather instead of aniline, which cleans with a neutral detergent.
- 03
- After eighteen months of continuous use, not one armchair has needed structural work.
- 24 Imperial armchairs
- 1.6 mm corrected leather
- Larger-section frame
- 18 months with no repairs
Family house in Ialoveni
Ialoveni, Moldova · 2024
A 280 cm table and ten chairs, for a family that hosts every Sunday.
- 01
- No table on the market went beyond 240 cm, and the family needed ten seats at once.
- 02
- We built a made-to-order 280×100 cm table with a 40 mm oak top and an additional central support so the top does not flex in the middle. The Toscana chairs got a seat 2 cm wider than standard.
- 03
- Ten genuine seats with 60 cm each — not eight cramped ones, as on standard tables.
- 280×100 cm made-to-order table
- Ten widened Toscana chairs
- Central anti-flex support
- Repairable oil-wax finish
Café in Munich
Munich, Germany · 2023
Forty-six bar stools and seats, shipped palletised to Germany.
- 01
- The counters came in three different heights in the same room, and the client needed one consistent look across all of them.
- 02
- We produced the Nord model in three seat heights — 65, 75 and 85 cm — with identical design and finish, plus a set of spare glides for the polished concrete floor.
- 03
- The shipment reached Munich 11 days after dispatch, with no transport damage.
- 46 pieces in three heights
- Palletised export packing
- 11 days in transit
- Spare glide set included
