Imperial Armchair

Imperial is the most striking piece in the catalogue and the only one whose structure is not wood. The frame is bent from a single piece of polished metal: it rises from the foot, sweeps into the arms, crosses the back and descends symmetrically on the other side, with no visible joint anywhere along the curve. That is why the chair looks completely different from one angle to the next — in profile you read the arc, from the front the gold bands cut the velvet into horizontal strips, and the curved foot closes like a ring. The domed back and generous seat are upholstered in velvet, and the contrast between warm metal and matte fabric is exactly why the model works.
