Toscana Chair

Toscana has its back mounted on two slim uprights, which leaves it floating a few centimetres above the seat. That detail makes the chair far lighter visually than one with a solid back, and lets light pass through it — which matters in a small kitchen, where six solid chairs close the room in. The back cushion is domed and follows the curve of the spine, and the tapered walnut legs narrow towards the floor.
